What do we do with the equipment we receive for recycle
This is our typical renewing process for a laptop
Inventory and organize, Initial assessment (power up and physical damage inspection), NIST compliant data wipe. HD replacement / New SSD, Fresh install of OS, Patch and drivers, System settings configuration, Charger and battery test, Battery replacement when needed, Complete port and keyboard testing. Damaged and laptops that will not power up are diagnosed to the component level and repaired. In operatable units are stripped for raw materials to be recycled.
